Today we went for a tour organised by City U to different famous places in HK : "Wong Tai Sin Temple", "Central", "Pottinger Street (Stone Stairway)", "Mid-Levels Escalator", "Lan Kwai Fong" and etc.... We started the tour at 9am today and it ended at ard 6pm. Pictures will tell more about our wonderful tour today.
~First stop of the tour - "Central"~
Duddel Strett Steps and Gas Lamp
This place may seemed familar to some of you as you can see this place in some of the HK movies and dramas.
Streets in Central
Lan Kwai Fong
Our SG "Clarke Quay". We will check out this place one of these days and see how HK night life diff from SG.
Taking a ferry from "Wan Chai" to "Tsim Sha Tsui".
You can reach Tsim Sha Tsui from Wan Chai by taking the MTR as well. Thus there is 2 ways to travel to & fro these 2 places.
Our tour leader (Edith)
Me & Alvin
Most of the time, he is taking pictures of me and me and more me. I did try my best to take nice pictures of him, but sad to say out of so many pictures only 1 or 2 is viewable. lolz
Our final stop of the tour. "Wong Tai Sin Temple"
"Wong Tai Sin Temple" is one of the famous temples in HK and most people go there to get their prayers answered. To find out more about the temple, ask your best frenz (google.com).
Exit of "Wong Tai Sin Temple"
Alvin testing our his camera skills
Fortune telling & 解"qian" street near the "Wong Tai Sin Temple"
To end the day, we had a wonderful dinner at one of the 茶餐厅 in Shek Kip Mei. It cost $29 HKD per set with a free drink each.
Anyway, the whole tour is not for FREE, it caused us $120 HKD per person. However, I think it is worth while, as we get to tour around the different famous places in HK and a lunch as well.
ps. I will try my best to improve my photography skills so I can take nice pictures as well. I might be a pro - camera gal when I am back to SG. Wish me all the best. :)
